VPRO Jazz is producing series of live radio-broadcasts on nine Saturday evenings in the season 2006/2007 from the ‘Bimhuis’ in Amsterdam. Every evening there will be a 3 hour lasting broadcast with the complete concert, including interviews and impressions.
On May 5: Report of the of the VPRO/Boy Edgar Award 2007 to pianist Bert van den Brink.
On this special evening several artists, including: Ernst Reijseger - cello, David Kweksilber – reed pipe, Benjamin Herman – altsax, John Engels –drums, Hans van Oosterhout – drums, Hein Van de Geyn - bass and Jesse van Ruller - guitar. Recorded on April 11 2007 in the Bimhuis, Amsterdam.
