Ralph Rousseau cd-presentation with special guest Lenny Kuhr

Classical viola da gambaplayer Ralph Rousseau will give a cdpresentation concert for his cd Chansons d'amour  in the Amstelkerk in Amsterdam on September 25th

He will play (among other things) arrangements of famous French chansons Together with the same musicians who also have joined him on his new cd: the Matangi String Quartet and jazz-bassplayer Hein Van de Geyn. A unique combination!

What will be even more unique is that on the night of the cd-presentationconcert Ralph and the quintet will be joined by Dutch chansonnière Lenny Kuhr and she will sing two songs with them! One of Them being an instrumental version on the cd ánd one song of her own cd Panta Rhei, in a different arrangement. This is where Classical and light music will joyfully come Together and create something new and very interesting!

The cd will be appealing for a very large audience, because of the beautiful and well-known melodies, who now do sound different and new in their fresh arrangements.
