Vincent Herring on Challenge Records
This month Challenge will release the latest album 'Morning Star' of Vincent Herring with the band Earth Jazz Agents. To celebrate this funky jazz album the group will play three times in a row at the world famous jazz club Ronnie Scotts in London on 4th, 5th and 6th february.
Undoubtedly, one of today's most important voices of the jazz saxophone, Vincent has recorded over 14 CD's as a leader and over 200 as a sideman. His long list of credits includes:The Freddie Hubbard Quintet, Nat Adderley Quintet, Art Blakey And The Jazz Messengers, Horace Silver Quintet, Kenny Barron Quintet, Steve Turre, Cedar Walton Quartet, Jack De Johnette's
Special Edition, Louis Hayes, Nancy Wilson and many others.
