Netherlands Symphony Orchestra and Liza Ferschtman play Beethoven tonight
Tonight, Liza Ferschtman and the Netherlands Symphony Orchestra play Beethoven. You can still visit this concert in the Frits Philipshall in Eindhoven.

In few other works, Beethoven really sings his love for the joy of life, than in his Violin Concerto. He wrote this piece in the same period as his Fourth Symphony (opus 60). Both works embed the same passion for live and living your life. There aren't many concerts that last longer then 45 minutes, but with Beethoven you enjoy every minute of this loving roomance. The caracter of his Fifth Symphony is different. About the first theme, Beethoven allegedly said: "Faith is knocking on the door". No faith to just give up. Beethoven struggles, suffers and thriomphs with this swirling masterpiece.
