Gramaophone and Opernwelt love Prégardien and Gees

In the March 2010 issue of the English Classical music magazine Gramophone the lateste cd of Christoph Prégardien and Michael Gees 'Between Lif and Death (CC72324) got an extremely positive review.

 "Christoph Prégardien tackles these songs with rare vocal flexibility."
 " ...Such a programme demands exceptional resources in its singer, and there is probably no one presently more suited than Christoph Prégardien.
"Michael Gees is one with the singer in the dedication of his own skills and in the imaginative sympathy that informs his touch." John Steane - Gramophone - March 2010

Also the German opera magazine Opernwelt was impressed by this cd:
"It is impressive and convincing indeed how the duo in a very earnest way, without making compromises, create a tension curve for example from a Lied of J.S. Bach out of the "Schmelischen Gesangbuch"(1736) to Mahlers  "Revelge" (1899). " - Uwe Schweikert - Opernwelt - Febr. 2010
