Wonderful Concert of Fugimundi in Bimhuis last night

Yesterday, on the 9th of June, Fugimundi played a wonderful concert in a sold out Bimhuis. The band of Eric Vloeimans was asked to return to the stage for "one more song" for 4 times! Although it was very warm in the room, the public kept asking for more and giving the musicians several standing ovations.

Fugimundi is Eric Vloeimans' more acoustic band. Together with pianist Harmen Fraanje and guitartis Anton Goudsmit, he brings interesting new, modern and funny jazz. Challeging music, because of the lack of a rhythm section, but so beautiful and whitty.
Guitarist Anton Goudsmit was recently awarded with the Boy Edgar Award and with a Duiveltje for the best guitartist.

Eric Vloeimans has recorded several albums with Fugimundi, of which Live at Yoshi's is his latest and most famous. it was recorded live at yoshi's, a club in Oakland, San Fransisco. You can learn more about the album here.
