Disquiet Media succesfully launched

Composer, film and stage director Michel van der Aa launched his label Disquiet succesfully at the 'Toonzetters'-concert on Saturday August 28th in the Muziekgebouw aan het IJ

The works that were performed were:
Rekindle (Nederlandse première)
Ingrid Geerlings - fluit

Asko|Schönberg o.l.v. Etienne Siebens

All of these three pieces were called 'exciting and very beautiful' by Dutch radiopresentor Hans Haffmans in the Muziekgebouw, when he launched the label Together with the composer himself.

In an interview with the Dutch VPRO Michel talks about his plans for Disquiet to present a interactive digital stage via the website of the label. These plans will be presented, if all goes well, next spring. An thrilling perspective!

Michel can now, finally, after putting a lot of work into the launch of his new label and everything that comes with it, GO back to his core-business: composing in a broad sense. In other words: creating new  and wonderful multi-media pieces.
