Minidocu Matangi Quartet in Shanghai on NTR September 5
The minidocumentary of the Matangi Quartet in Shanghai will be aired on national Dutch television coming Sunday September 5th (13:00 - 14:00 hours on NED 2). The documentary is shown in NTR Podium, a programme of broadcastingcompany NPS about music and dance, presented by Diewertje Blok.
The Matangi's are not an ordinary Classical quartet. They always explore their boundaries and work besides Classical music also with other genres. They performed for example with DJ Kypski; and the results of this cooperation are very surprising indeed.
When the quartet was in China/ Shanghai for the World Expo, Lucas van Woerkum made this filmportrait of the quartet.
In Shanghai the Matangi's gave a concert in the Dutch Culture Center.
